We cannot confirm any plans, at the moment, to release F1 2020 on PS5/Xbox Series X or S. However Sony has stated that most PS4 games will work on PS5 and Microsoft has stated that all Xbox One games will work on Xbox Series X and S.
Will I get an automatic upgrade to the next gen version of F1 2020 if I buy it on PS4 / Xbox One?
