EDIT: On the 25th of August, we released a non-mandatory patch on the Play Store and AppStore that fixes this bug as well as other bugs. Here are links to the Stores so you can download this update right now:

We are working on a fix to resolve this issue and we will update this article as soon as we have any news to share!
In the meantime, here's a workaround:
- Complete 5 Daily challenges
- When the gauge displays 5/5 next to the Daily box, you should be able to claim the box
If you have over 5/5, so for instance, 8/5, it will be impossible for you to claim the Daily box and you will be forced to wait for the daily refresh to occur to drop back to 0/5 and make your way to exactly 5/5 again to claim the Daily box.
